About the Author
Non Nomen is latin for "no name." Not much is known about the author other than his professional work as an artist and writer. He uses a very distinctive method of writing which has become known as Graphic-verse. His debut, entitled The Unwords, was published in January 2012 and became a Goodreads Choice Award Finalist the same year. In 2013, the second edition of The Unwords was released worldwide. His next publication, entitled Bury Me in Her Eyes, was published in January 2015. With a total of 28 different languages interrelating with each other within its content, Bury Me in Her Eyes is considered the first multilingual work of literature ever created. He is currently working on his next project entitled The Torn Apart.

Timeless!

Having previously read 'The Unwords: Exposing the Dishonest Language of a Culture in Decline' by the anonymous author, I had high expectations for Bury Me in Her Eyes. The author delivered, producing a timeless work of art that transcends genre or definition.
The book starts with 'Laid to Rest', a brutally honest depiction of the physical, mental and existential conflicts an artist faces in the struggle to create something new. Laid to Rest also lays down the foundation for the book's purpose, a set-in-stone historical marker of love. The author bares all, exposing his personal struggles in a harsh, but beautiful and poetic way that prefaces the book in an extremely unique way.
We then come to 'Bury Me in Her Eyes', which is laden with art taking the reader to the depths of the cosmos. Bury Me in Her Eyes is special, as it is written in 28 different languages. The author decided not to include the English translation, which I think is a fantastic idea. People are used to reading being a solitary experience, but Bury Me in Her Eyes is truly special as it requires people to go out, make new friends and co-operate to understand it's secrets and tale of love.
I believe Bury Me in Her Eyes has broken ground with it's style, theme and the manner it was written. It indeed does so superbly, drawing up a range of strong emotions as you read it. I could not recommend it highly enough and look forward to more work from the author.

It’s amazing how this young man presents his beloved using few ...

Non Nomen is unique in his work, not only according to the two published books, but also by taking in regard his blog and overview of society. Bury Me in Her Eyes is somewhat different from The Unwords, a kind of a stray from the primary path. Nevertheless, we have been given an exceptional masterpiece of modern literature which is impossible to compare with any other novel or a poem.
Bury Me in Her Eye is made of two sequences. The first one reflects author’s inner chaos and battle in which he gains a victory. It’s amazing how this young man presents his beloved using few words but enough to let us know that she is his muse, motiv and leader in the modern world of capitalism where we are only slaves living to survive and zombified creatures called people who’s purpose is to sleep, feed, work, drink, sleep again.
We don’t always meet love so strong in its core. It’s impressive how two creatures so tiny on this huge planet rose and became as large as the Universe itself. Actually, modern world made love a worn out word on a paper. N.N. proved that love is not a feeling, but a state which we all need more than air or water. Using verse and love as major inspiration, he’s making a new Universe and a new life. Maybe the first three pages hold nothing, but the rest hold everything.
Purpose of comparing life of a human with life of a photon is that time is too short (if we could measure it with something) and ridiculous having the entire Cosmos in mind. This photon measures its / his time with words, wise sentences, brilliant mind knowing that it / he will never be forgotten as a creator.
For those who know more than three languages, the second part of the book is a true revelation. I must admit that I truly enjoyed this multilingual challenge followed by amazing artwork, each image reflecting certain feelings and words, having romantic verses like Mr. Gibran used to create and a strong down to earth and criticaly-oriented mind such as Non Nomen’s.

Non Nomen is Latin for "no name." Not much is known about the author other than his professional work as an artist and writer. He uses a very distinctive method of writing that has become known as Graphic-verse. Some readers may argue that a moniker such as this is a wall behind which to hide. In Non Nomen's case it seems appropriate in that he is walking a line between poetry and visual are and entering a region not explored - a book that is in twenty-eight languages, a challenge at first and then a mystical experience as the reader explores as the pages of this mystery unfold. It appears that he lives on Cyprus.
The book is divided into two parts; Part One explains the genesis of this book and its concept (this portion is in English) - its motive: to express the pull between the eyes of a lover and the poet. The section ends with the words of Neil deGrasse Tyson: `We are part of this universe; we are in this universe, but perhaps more important than both of those facts, is that the universe is in us.'
Part Two, titled BURY ME IN HER EYES, is equally visual and poetic with wondrously beautiful images of starts and light and penetrating views into the unknown regions of the universe with superimposed eyes, human outlines an other imagery blending into the magic that serves as the background for the extended poem in so many languages. One portion is in English:
`Whether now we are then, or before we are after,
look high...
The light binds us. The light unites us...
we are one.
Search for me in the vastness of blackness.
Spread its thorax wide open and reach out to me.
Through the endless void of past, future and present
for you I charge!
For you I accelerate!'
