Very informative! Once again our western diet in abundance of refined sugars, starches and carbohydrates have caused our body to go into constant panic mode to fight and ward off inflammation. This is how obesity, heart disease, high blood pressure etc etc etc are born. This book has a lot of useful information to help you relieve your inflammation. Great yummy recipes at the back of the book that I must try!

Some diets are very specific. For those who know about inflammation, this book is for you (and me). It is a new buzz word that accounts for many diseases and ill health. These recipes come to the rescue to set things right in the body and stop those nasty pathogens in their tracks. Diet is part of the process that tends to get ignored along with lack of sleep and stress. This is a handy guide to the whole subject that is very useful. And yes, there is info on gluten in here.

This is a very informative book which really lays out the benefits of following an anti-inflammatory diet. Not only does the author discuss inflammation and its sources but, it's got a lot of useful recipes in the second half of the book.
The book also helps you evaluate your overall lifestyle to think of things you could do to improve your health in general. Yes diet plays a big part. But at the same time you’ll also need to pay attention to reducing bad habits like smoking and taking care to manage your stress. Overall this is a very useful book with a lot of great information for just about everyone.
